been wanting to do this one over again for some time, but at the time of its creation, i felt as though i needed more experience before changing it further. looking back, i think it was a very good idea.

came out quite nicely =J

this is one of those rarities that you draw, where the first drawing is more correct than the proceeding variations, so it contributes more to the next version because it's so strong; or accurate.

this design pretty much "wrote" its self. i had an idea, and i built the rest of the design off of it. in this case, the central idea was the face and the hat, i wanted a face-plate to have a wicked-smiling face carved into it.

i wanted the "good-guy, badguy" it to be mildly "smexy," leaning closer to bad-guy and in a halloween-ish feel to it.
